Getting the computer audio into the stereo
« on: January 31, 2014, 05:19:33 PM »
Since this topic was being discussed in the "what we're listening to today" thread, I'd thought I'd move it over here with an update.

I purchased the Arcam rDAC converter, which is proving to work very well with my stereo. Hell, it even makes YouTube sound good. Now, I just have to get around to ripping a zillion CDs. Ugh.

I also recommend the foobar2000 media player. Seems easy to use and does what I need.

I use NuForce Air DAC + uTX Transmitter for the same task. It's simple to install (no driver disc needed) and use. Sound quality is great and I haven't experienced any dropouts after I moved the receiver so that it is in line of sight with the transmitter.
